Whether you play for fun or for cash, try the online variant of UNO against real opponents with amusing rabbit characters. DUO is the most tactically testing card game ever!
Aim of the game: Whether you are playing against one or several opponents, the aim is to get rid of your cards faster than them. But look out for special cards such as "Miss a turn" and "+4".
Laying cards: Discard your cards to match the color or number of the displayed card. The cards you can lay on your turn light up in your hand.
Pass: If you are unable to lay a matching card, you will automatically draw a card and the turn passes to the next player.
Last card: When you only have two cards left in your hand, the "Last Card" button appears below the chat window. Before laying your last card but one, you must click on this button to let your opponent know. If you forget to use the button or click on it too late, you must draw two cards as a penalty. The last card must be announced every time it is a player's turn and he or she only has two cards left.
You can also use the following special cards:
Special cards in all colors
(Card value: 20 points)
Miss a turn: The next player misses his or her turn. They can avoid missing a turn by laying another "Miss a turn" card.
Reverse play: The white arrow indicates the direction of play. This card reverses the order in which the players take their turns. If only 2 people are playing, the next player misses a turn unless they are able to lay another reversing card.
Draw 2: The next player must draw 2 cards, but is still allowed to take the turn. It is possible to avoid drawing 2 by laying another +2 card, which means that the next player in turn must draw the sum of the +2 cards unless he or she is able to lay another such card. Finally, the player who has drawn cards must lay one, too.
Black action cards
(Card value: 50 points)
Choose color: The player can lay this card on any other card and pick a color. The next player must then lay a card of that color. They cannot counter this card with another black card.
Draw 4: This card can be laid on any color. When you lay this card, the next player must draw 4 cards, and you may also pick a color. The next player then has to lay a card in the color you named. It is NOT possible to avoid drawing 4 cards by laying another +4 card.
Exclamation mark - intermediate result: You can play one or more rounds against your opponents. Click on the exclamation mark in the menu to view the results so far.
Dropping out at 21st card: As soon as you hold more than 20 cards in your hand, you drop out of the round and cannot rejoin until the next one begins. Remain in the game until then.
Scoring: The round ends when one player is out of cards. The values of all remaining cards in the opponents' hands are added to the winner's score.
Aborting the game: If you leave the game ahead of time, you automatically lose, even if you have more points by then than your opponents.
Hint: If possible, lay the cards with the highest values first, as they may otherwise be awarded to an opponent at the end.
